Over "model airport" a 600-foot square field near Los Angeles, Calif., a pilotless airplane banked gracefully into the wind, approached a little group of eager observes beside the runaway, and, with, its engine idling, glided in for a perfect three-point landing. The observes were some of the 300 members of the Gas Model Airplane Association of Southern California who gather at Model Airport to fly their little planes.
